Codefest 2025, organized by Code for Change, is the fourth edition of Nepalโs biggest hackathon, bringing together innovative minds from across the nation. Unlike previous editions, Codefest 2025 will be an open hackathon divided into two stages the Provincial Phase and the Grand Finale.
The themes for the competition will be decided by the respective Provincial Execution Teams, allowing each province to focus on solving the most relevant local and technological challenges. Codefest 2025 aims to foster collaboration, creativity, and innovation among bachelorโs students in technology and tech-enthusiastic +2 students from all over Nepal.
The event will be conducted in 2 - phases:
1) Province Level: All the teams from a province will compete against each other and the qualifying teams from each province will be selected for the National Competition (Finale).
2) Finale: The winners from each province will compete against each other in the Grand Finale, which will take place in the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu.
Prizes:
Winner of the Codefest 2025 will be rewarded with the prize equivalent to NPR 1 Lakh
1st runner-up will be rewarded with the prize equivalent to NPR 50 Thousand
2nd runner-up will be rewarded with the prize equivalent to NPR 30 Thousand
People's Choice award: 50k
Along with various gadgets, services, and gift hampers.
* Each team can have minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 team members.
* Best practical ideas can also get chance of investment/incubation.
* Payment of the Registration charge (2500 NPR) will be communicated via phone or registered email.
