KU HackFest 2024 is a 48-hour-long physical hackathon being organized by the Kathmandu University Computer Club during the month of November. More than 160 participants are projected to attend this fourth iteration of the annual event. The first iteration, KU HackFest 2021, was Nepal’s first digital hackathon and it was completed successfully with 613 participants from 29 different countries worldwide submitting a total of 58 projects.
Our vision is to bring all the tech enthusiasts and creative minds from different areas of the country together, collaborating and competing with each other, to manifest astounding ideas into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and business solutions.
KU Hackfest offers participants a holistic experience that goes beyond the competition. With technical workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities, participants can develop their skills, build meaningful connections, and contribute to impactful projects. Whether you're a seasoned developer or a beginner, KU Hackfest welcomes anyone eager to innovate and make a difference, offering a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of a community-driven initiative.
