Codefest 2026, organized by Code for Change, is the fifth edition of Nepalβs biggest hackathon, bringing together innovative minds from across the nation and beyond. This year's edition marks a major milestone as Codefest opens its doors to international student participation for the first time, creating a larger platform for collaboration, cultural exchange and global innovation.
The hackathon will be conducted in two stages: the Provincial Phase and the Grand Finale. Provincial Execution Teams will determine themes and modalities based on local priorities and technological challenges, encouraging participants to develop solutions that create meaningful impact in their communities.
Codefest 2026 aims to foster collaboration, creativity and innovation among bachelor-level students in technology as well as tech-enthusiastic +2 students from Nepal and around the world.
