Coding for Social Good Nepal Summer Camp is a fully funded, 16-week online fellowship where up to 60 high school students and recent graduates across Nepal build real technology projects that tackle urgent environmental problems such as wildfires, deforestation, air pollution, and more.
Participants spend the first few weeks learning environmental education along with the fundamentals of Python, data, and APIs. After that, they join a team of 10 and spend the rest of the program building a real project that is presented publicly at a final showcase event.
Supported internationally by the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) and RTX Corporation, this summer camp requires no prior programming experience. The program starts from zero and provides access to valuable industry mentorship from professionals, including AI engineers, software engineers, and the embedded systems lead at Yatri Motorcycles.
Participation is completely free for students. There are no fees; project expenses are covered, and support is provided for internet access challenges, so cost and connectivity are not barriers.
