Think Big, Innovate Bigger
BMC InnovateX is a 48-hour national hackathon aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration among tech enthusiasts across Nepal. Hosted by the CSIT Association of Butwal Multiple Campus (BMC), the event invites students, developers, and aspiring tech leaders to team up, build solutions, and showcase their creativity in a competitive environment.

Participants will work on real-world challenges across multiple domains, including education, healthcare, tourism, governance, finance, agriculture, and emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain.

Event Timeline

• Initial Virtual Round:
  Jestha 15–17, 2082 (May 29–31, 2025)
• Team Selection:
  Top 15 teams will advance to the final round
• Final On-site Hackathon:
  Jestha 25–27, 2082 (June 8–10, 2025)
  📍 Venue: Butwal Multiple Campus, Golpark-03, Butwal, Rupandehi

Registration Details

• Registration Period:
  Chaitra 19 – Jestha 1, 2082 (April 1 – May 15, 2025)
• Initial Round: Free of cost
• On-site Final Round: NPR 3,000 per team (for selected finalists only)

Prize Breakdown

• 🥇 1st Prize: NPR 50,000
• 🥈 2nd Prize: NPR 30,000
• 🥉 3rd Prize: NPR 15,000
• 🏅 Special Awards:
  
  • Best AI/ML Implementation – NPR 7,500
  • Best Social Impact Project – NPR 5,000

Hackathon Tracks

Participants can submit projects in any of the following tracks:

• Ed-Tech
• Health & Wellness
• Tourism
• E-Governance
• Fin-Tech
• Agri-Tech
• Blockchain
• Open Innovation (any innovative idea outside predefined tracks)

Evaluation Criteria (Total 100 Points)

• Innovation & Problem Solving – 35%
• Technology Stack – 15%
• Presentation & Demo – 10%
• Team Collaboration – 10%
• UI/UX Design – 10%
• Scalability & Sustainability – 20%
